ProAsset launched a new garden management software package for both professionals and amateurs at this year's RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park.

To demonstrate its capabilities, the ProAsset Maintenance Garden was designed to show the types of care needed to maintain a garden. The exhibit displayed an array of features and plants with particular maintenance requirements.

The software helps to track everything in your garden and sets out maintenance required to keep it looking at it's best. Gardeners can create a monthly or yearly programme to cover maintenance.

For professional gardeners, designers and contractors, there is the added advantage of being able to input costs for each job, which can then be put together to create work tickets, which can highlight expenditure for clients.

Plots can be created within the database for each section of a garden, so all work involved with lawn maintenance can be added to remind you when to mow, feed and scarify. All aspects of pond care can be put in another, all requirements for your roses can be placed on the above, and so on.

With data stored, work plans can be produced showing all the work for the garden and there is the option to gain a pricing or work ticket for the chosen period or month's work.

The software is easy to use for those familiar with Windows systems and even if you are not a computer whizz, on-line help can guide you through any difficulties you might have.

A number of resources are provided, including a support forum, payment support, updates, a frequently asked questions section and an on-line store, all allowing customers to gain easy access to information about ProAsset's products and services.
